PHILIP CHAPMAN
Phil is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Sheffield. His love for nature, the church and his community is a huge inspiration and motivation for his work.

Phil's work ranges from large-scale paintings, to sculptures. He also loves to paint on everyday objects that mean a lot to him, such as gardening equipment.

In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, music, and helping out at his local church. He also loves playing the organ, and being a part of his church band is something he is very proud of! He is hardworking and a huge asset to his community.
This is a project Phil worked on with a group of artists for a new food hall Called Kargo which has opened up in Manchester. The artists worked alongside the Artworks workshop leaders to liaise and work with the client and produce the best outcome for their new site. The piece was a huge success and is hopefully leading to more such work for Phil and his colleagues at Artworks!
As mentioned earlier, Phil is very involved in his local church and community and a big part of that is his role in the church band and playing the organ.
Phil's work is heavily inspired by his love of gardening and the outdoors. This is a piece Phil worked on where he painted directly onto an old spade inspired by the landscape of the surrounding countryside where he lives. Phil is really proud of this piece of work and wants to paint a whole range of them!
Cityscapes and Seascapes.
Alongside Phil's passion for nature and the outdoors, he also has a keen interest in recycling. This stems from his time working in a recycling plant in Sheffield where he would take things home and give them a new lease of life.

This is a project Phil worked on where he used discarded off-cut pieces of vinyl to create beautiful and vibrant stained-glass window art. This was exhibited in Wakefield Cathedral in the cafe and was a huge success!
